Financial Assistance - flexible for what is needed

Families often struggle with the costs of caregiving for their family member with a developmental disability such as Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Spina Bifida, Epilepsy, etc.  Family Support through the Individual & Family Support Program helps families with financial assistance which may go towards anything which is needed.  A home without air conditioning may cause seizures in certain children, medical supplies not covered by insurance and prescriptions may not be purchased, cars which are so necessary to travel to doctor and therapy appointments may need repairs, and many other expenses are troubling.  We try to provide referrals to appropriate sources of help but frequently we are the last resort.
